Democracy, the spectacular Greek invention

No doubt the legacy of the Greeks has been so important that has lasted to this day. One of his great legacies was the famous "Democracy." The simple reason that all people should have equal say in matters of political organizations, independent whatever their social class, family, and sex This led the Greeks to invent the ruling polis where freedom of men. "That is, their ability to reason, to discuss choosing, to revoke leaders, to create problems and propose solutions."

definitely democracy in a country is too importantly, all citizens have the right to speak and vote (civil rights). Brother But what these rights are not met, are unequal, differences are, or appear certain characters in a country to block or gradually erode democracy installed in that country.

At first the Greeks applied the isomonía in its policy, which means the same law for all citizens, and the same political equality, and even for those who govern and promote the laws, because the law fell upon them as all citizens. We note that neither women nor slaves participate in this political equality Now perhaps we might ask how we can call the Greek democratic if it included all people, and also had slaves, obviously that changed with time and the Greeks only gave a boost to what is now known as Democracy, a democracy obviously much more modern in terms of range that includes those who consider themselves among others.

Note that the equalities of rights and laws as the Greeks were not awarded to ALL HUMAN BEINGS, but to all citizens, who must meet certain requirements imposed by the cops.

As we already know is the cornerstone of an organized society, because it gives citizens opportunities to choose from such authorities and also to assert their rights. Our country like many of the world is a democratic country where all citizens (over 18 years, regardless of sex, race or social status, among others.) Have a voice in society where the laws also have about them Likewise.

Within a democratic society is important not to miss those small acts of corruption by the authorities, while Chile is a country with low corruption rate in Latin America, there is the same way, but usually have been overshadowed other events, plus gift few people especially politicians who pay for their mistakes. We simply have to inform and participate in our democracy, that we take, so as they say "no finger put us in the mouth" and live as befits our democracies, and you could say that somo fortunate to have (remember that there are countries that do not, that conceptualize evil, or that at some point that democracy was broken) Viva Democracy!

We obedient and disobedient, for cause, without cause.

'the man is an animal an animal cívico, político>>. more than ever we have heard this popular phrase of Aristotle that has endured over time, but Fernando Savater who explains in a more easy to understand, saying that man is the only be able to rise.

While we (humans) have the ability to comply within a society, we also have the capacity and response of rebellion against society is not as explained by the author but against a particular society.

But what makes us rebels against the people who run our society? Despite official claims that are embedded in this society to put order into it, and to resolve our conflicts, not much obedience and attention we put into them. Perhaps the excuses for our behavior can be rebellious: the failure to find a consistent reason to obey the orders, or simple human nature, nature rebellious and disobedient.
Now we may begin to emerge in an endless number of questions about our behavior with mandates such as: Why should we meet with all laws imposed by our society? beings are supposed to be free, but why should that obedience we have with our society and laws not enforced? What brings us break them from time to time? Is there anyone in our society I really never done anything illegal? ... already know that laws are made for society to be organized in the best way possible. But all the possibilities we have in our society to obey or disobey is broad. Just our behavior should be such that it is enforceable by law, but our disagreement is that makes us go into default, or simply can not live being too right before the law, and will always be some opportunity in that we break.

What's happening in our country?, How is the behavior of People in this society? Do you respect authority?

In our country, the authorities are not fully respected, we can see that the behavior of people is not entirely decent and / or responsible for others, assumes that citizens have the right to demonstrate peacefully asserting their rights, and perhaps complain about what they believe is not entirely fair in this society, but when these protests or demonstrations are not met so we can peacefully see the great rebellion and disrespect towards authorities and also because no others. These situations in Chile we can see regularly, when students express either high school or above, workers Day commemoration young fighter, September 11 (memorial to the disappeared) and between many other social groups who wish to demonstrate. On many occasions we see destruction, premises, property destruction and public, and many of these destructions are not little monetary value, sentimental value or low, or culture. So what is the point of revolt to hurt others and also pass to lead the authorities, who in times like these must take drastic measures for resolving these conflicts.

Among the many social problems that exist in Chile we can find the bad behavior of citizens, the violation of law, a problem we must solve, but we must include and engage all. We must be aware of the consequences they bring our actions (Theft, crime, violence etc.), Of course not after it, but that we first take responsibility for them.
Obviously here to Chileans become aware of our behavior, we have a long, and we can see daily in newscasts, newspapers, radios etc. An excellent proof of our bad behavior, and that at the time of asserting rights, claim to do justice, celebrate triumphs of our country or a football team there is no need to express with violence or damage, this behavior leads to nothing more than leave a bad image of ourselves, destroy and harm others in a society which we all belong. "Maybe it would be good that we start putting ourselves in the place of another."

An Anarchist Society

Our society is full of laws and authorities. The place that we turn in Chile we find any authority, whether from neighborhood associations, to municipalities to the Government. if you think about how would an anarchist society, we should first start by defining which postulates Anarchism and Anarchists.
Anarchism (Greek: without authority or power) is a political and social philosophy which postulates the abolition of the state opposition and thus the whole hierarchy that can dominate, rule, govern or control the company, along with "Marxism" (ideology belonging to Karl Marx) belong to the currents of "Socialism," therefore strongly criticize the "Capitalism."

Anarchism posits that people are good by nature and society, the state or its institutions, are those who destroy their happiness.

Certainly not the first time we heard talk about anarchism or seen the famous "A" inside a circle more than any of the streets of our city.

Now what if our society was an anarchist? Do you really human beings would act according to our nature? It may be a myth, knowing how we would behave, maybe the man would change nothing and continue behaving the way it does.

addition if we were an anarchist society would have no laws, so no one could infringe, and authorities would not only act as we would (supposedly in good shape como afirman los anarquistas).

Or perhaps we are right, those assumptions are not anarchists, they are just criminals who want to make their own identity by hiding behind the Anarchist.

no doubt a subject for many that speak not only for the current behavior of those who claim to be anarchists, but also the society they are applying, a company that clearly are not used because we have constantly lived environment to hierarchical authority and law. It would be nice to know today whether any near or distant future this system of society would disappear to be replaced by an Anarchist.

"We are here assembled? ... In a society

"we are gathered" is the name of the first chapter of "Politics for Amador" (book by Fernando Savater). This chapter clearly explains that we belong to a society, independent of our customs, cultures, religions, etc. Obviously our nature is the Company, as stated Fernando Savater in his book.

At the same time we must bear in mind that in society we have a number of limitations, but what are, where we can see, or for creating each limitations?. Those limitations are nothing more, nothing less than the laws that govern our society, are created by and for somehow to organize society and even provide security and stability.
In Chile we can find a wealth of laws, criminal code, civil code, among others. How effective are these laws, we need them?

Anarchists pose a lawless society, affirm that human beings act on their own conscience, but nobody ensures good behavior by the society, perhaps lower if we act our conscience, at this point would not have laws, and we would be needed to organize our society.
Clearly in our country we can not rely only conscious behavior of individuals, and that this is not so, if not, we must rely on laws to be able to order our society.
addition to the laws, the proper act of judges is very important in a society, especially in Chile, and they are the ones penalized people who break the law, but on several occasions the judges who do not enforce the law by ignoring the crimes, crime, rape etc. Making our country and our judicial system, corrupt and incompetent system where the company has no assurance that the laws will be enforced, and if violated, will not always be the appropriate penalty to the act.
laws currently in our country, are important and are totally dependent on them to organize and maintain order in society. But he has not been given a great emphasis on this issue, in which the system court is having major flaws, which simply represents offenders, rapists, and criminals loose on the streets of the country, perhaps paying for crimes innocent people in prisons is not worthy for a human being, also renowned revolving door where offenders and out of jails when they want, and finally one of the most serious problems, the number of young and vulnerable children who live in an environment of crime, crime, living in slums, see their parents practice the crime, believe that in this way can survive, rather than make it subsite lifestyle, where not only pass to take the law but, as other people, authorities and risk their own lives.
Finally, all these problems leads not limitations that exist in Chilean society, but, poor monitoring compliance with laws, laws that have been created for a better organization today may not are working, since the limitations of our society are being taken into account, otherwise you are being transferred without much problem.

What is the importance of the policy and the interest we have in it?

Many people including adults and young people see politics as something really negative. Is it as bad as we see, or just a reaction due to the ignorance that come before it? Perhaps these are the questions we ask when we see the large percentages of young people not registered on the electoral register, and found little interest with adults when choosing the great authorities of their commune, or Country. Or that contempt with which people refer to politicians.
First of all we think about what causes, and some of them are: The aforementioned ignorance with politics, poor political action against their work, and great corruption committed, created a deep distrust in society, perhaps the differences that exist in society for some it is also an excuse for not believing in politics or in political, another cause is also practiced by political demagoguery, those solutions society in which people believe and trust, with these solutions almost impossible to meet.
All belong to a society when we came to the world, where we have customs, laws, obligations, prohibitions, instances, good, bad, among many other things ... that make us behave in certain ways, have diversity in different spheres (religious, sexual preference, socio-economic, political thoughts, among many others.) and belong to the so-called "Society." Fernando Savater
in the first chapter of his book "Politics for Amador" mentioned that: "The society is supposed to be designed by men like us and men like us can understand the reasons for their organization and use them our advantage. " And precisely on this is where is the problem of little interest in politics, and the little importance that he sees it. "We take and we truly understand the reasons for the organization of society? Perhaps if we did another would be the attitude of the importance of politics, and obviously the behavior of politicians could be another, one more consistent with his task, overseeing the organization of a society and the common good of it.
