Neoliberalism is an economic policy where state intervention is minimal and the private sector dominates the market by the law of supply and demand. (Does not entirely reject state intervention, but this is minimal).
This system is dominant Practically throughout the world and Chile was one of the first countries in Latin America to implement it. But like any political-economic system has its point of view good and bad point of view.
A clear example of a view is not very good Neoliberalism is the large number of social problems that this produces deseemplo as that produced by the implementation of large machines that replace certain number of workers in an enterprise, the social difference privatization of certain basic needs that should belong to the state as health and education, which means that in many cases people of different economic situations and health education receive lower quality than those that have good economic situation and can afford a expensive school, or a university where students can go to school without these are interrupted by protests from students who claim their rights. Maybe one of the good things of neoliberalism is the ability to give the person able to develop and you can purchase what they always wanted the globalized world, such as properties, property, cars, travel and frills on another system that may not have had.
But we took many times to get everything we want to be that there are people economically in this society is in bad economic situations, without a decent quality of life for a human being, a life which has the simple property homeownership as basic needs, health and education of good quality, important features that are fundamental, mental human development, and thus beginning to develop in other economic areas.
