In just 4 years, Estrella Levante SOS 4.8 Festival has become one of the largest in the country (perhaps the "Hispanicized" in terms of attendance) and serves as a starting point to the summer festival season.
In my third experience at the event Murcia, I could see the evolution of the public who has made this year reached maximum levels (40,000 per night is no small feat) and perhaps slightly above la capacidad de la organización, que dicho sea de paso, es de un nivel más que aceptable. Lo de tener cobertura para poder llamar a tu madre o para que tu ex escuche Copenhague a través de tu móvil dentro del reciento es otra cosa.
Con un cartel atractivo como es costumbre, aunque algo más orientado a la música de baile, arrancamos nuestra aventura del viernes en el escenario Jagermeister, el pequeño de los dos principales. Y nuestro primer objetivo eran los catalanes Manel. Que decir, no creo que su música tenga cabida en este tipo de eventos y además, espero que sepáis perdonarnos, teníamos más hambre que otra cosa. Y lo voy a decir: no me van, creo que están sobrevalorados y que have more hype than anything else. I let go, I feel much better.
After recover energy, Baby Arizona was our next stop. With that image so seventies and a great sound of acoustic guitars, got the public in the pocket to the first change. A little bit of rock is always welcome.
Vetusta Morla was one of the highlights of the first day of festival. And so the stage attested to the llenazo Estrella Levante, ready to chant the great hits of Madrid. However, the first part of the concert was dedicated to present their second album, Map, which meant that people were colder than normal. In particular, it was the the concert more enjoyable (great man bag or On rare), which eventually became a karaoke when it came time to Copenhagen, Brave or squaring the circle.
closed the night with MGMT. Basically I wanted to see the feelings that I produced her albums and it was: I do not like to waste time.
In conjunction with scheduled performances in the exhibition center of Fica, on Saturday at noon we enjoyed in the central Plaza de las Flores of Mujeres direct and Last Bathers, of which we have already spoken once and that releasing their fantastic debut album in June. Take note.
Late afternoon, we returned to "mess" to enjoy the concert of the Second Murcia. With the usual pose us so much (dis) like, gave a concert as energetic as usual and ended in ecstasy with the components of Bar Barry on stage. His second album in Castilian, Dreamers Too, they must lie in the place they deserve in the pop scene state. Many
had wanted them to extravagant Hi Everybody, that were less than in concert, leaving more than one with an open mouth with its proposal echoes a more hippies Arcade Fire yet.

From there we made the big stage to see one de los conciertos más esperados por un servidor, el de los británicos Editors. Seré sincero, en los primeros minutos del show me sentí defraudado hasta el punto de plantearme buscar la barra más próxima, pero poco a poco se vinieron arriba para acabar arrasando con todo y dar uno de los mejores conciertos de todo el fin de semana. En temas como Munich, Papillon o You don’t know love demostraron todo su potencial, que es mucho. Y además poseen uno de los mejores front-man del rock actual.
Hablando de front-man, el amigo Brett Anderson y su resucitada banda eran los siguientes en salir al escenario. Suede dieron un concierto plagado de hits y que sin embargo resultó plano y falto de feeling. Los problemas de sonido and apparently were among the group members themselves did not help.
